Vintage Poster Card: Campari is an alcoholic beverage made from bitter herbs, aromatic plants and fruit in alcohol and water. The Vermouth was invented by Gaspare Campari in the 1860's and thanks to a closely guarded secret recipe contains the same ingredients today. This interesting image created by celebrated print maker Leonetto Cappiello features orange peel wrapped around a man holding a bottle of Campari. The image is also watermarked on the back of the post card.
